Green Carpeting Initiatives

BC Exchange is as committed to helping the environment as we are to helping our customers.

We actively support several of the carpet industry’s green initiatives that apply sustainable practices specifically to the interior environment of buildings. For example, we are working with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) to recognize carpeting as a "green” product and promote the use of Green Label/Green Label Plus products that have low VOC emissions. We also participate in carpet recycling efforts to reduce the waste sent to landfills.

In addition, BC Exchange can assist clients in obtaining LEED Certification for Commercial Interiors and we have created a LEED Flooring Report Form to help streamline the flooring segment of the certification process.
